Become a Filtaworx
Partner
We are looking for long-term distribution and integration partners worldwide — the kind we grow with, not through. You know your market; we build the filters and stand behind them.
What you would be representing
Filtaworx is an Australian privately owned manufacturer of automatic self-cleaning screen filters, with full control over design, intellectual property and production. The range runs DN50 to DN450 at flows to 1,400 m³/h, in hydraulic and electric drive, with screens from 30 to 800 µm.
The filters clean themselves on differential pressure without interrupting flow — a suction scanner lifts the accumulated solids off the screen and out to drain in seconds. There are no cartridges, no consumables and nothing to replace on a schedule.
The brand launched in 2010 and is built on decades of real-world water treatment experience. Installations run in industrial process water, cooling systems, agriculture, mining and municipal reuse, in Australia, Europe and Asia.

Why it is worth carrying
The case for the product is made in specifications, not adjectives. Bodies and screens are stainless steel — 304 as standard, 316 and 904L on request — with no plastic pressure parts anywhere in the range. Standard bodies are rated to 10 bar, with 16 and 25 bar available. There are no cartridges and no consumables: the only scheduled work is a screen inspection every six to twelve months and bearings once a year.
What that means commercially is that the filter stops being a line item and starts being a result. At Continental Tyres in the Czech Republic the backwash water consumption of the main sand filtration dropped by 60%. At Capral Aluminium in Victoria a twenty-five-year-old filter had to be replaced inside pipework that could not move — an FW200 High Pressure went in at 212 m³/h and 12 bar, on fabricated bends. At Baosteel in Shanghai, part of the world's largest steel producer, FW050HP units have run at 16 bar on the casting floor since 2015. Three continents, three different problems, and all three are on this site as case studies you can hand a customer.
For you that works two ways. Equipment that runs unattended and does not generate callbacks builds the kind of reputation that wins the next project on the same site — the reason we look for partners with service capability rather than the widest reseller list. And partner pricing is structured so the margin is worth the effort of learning the product properly; the specifics belong in the introductory conversation, not on a public page.

Who we are looking for
Water treatment companies
Businesses already specifying and installing treatment plant, where screen filtration protects what comes after it.
System integrators
Integrators building process water skids and packages who need a filter that reports to a control system and looks after itself.
Industrial solution providers
Suppliers to manufacturing, steel, mining and energy, where downstream equipment is expensive and unplanned downtime is worse.
Irrigation and agricultural specialists
Companies protecting emitters and micro-sprinklers on bore, river and recycled water.
Companies with service capability
A partner who can commission and service on the ground is worth more to a customer than one who can only sell.
Market knowledge
We are not looking to run your territory from Melbourne. Knowing your customers and standards is the part we cannot supply.
How the partnership works
A clear split of responsibilities is what keeps a distribution relationship working over years rather than months.
| You | Filtaworx |
|---|---|
| Sales and local customer relationships | Product development and manufacturing |
| System integration | Application and sizing support |
| Installation, commissioning and service | Product training for your team |
| Local market and standards knowledge | Engineering data, drawings and 3D models |
| First-line customer contact | Marketing material, case studies and spare parts |
What you get from us
Technical documentation and manuals, general assembly drawings and 3D models, product training, marketing material and case studies, and spare parts availability.
Most sizing you can do yourself, and we would rather you did. The configurator on this site takes flow rate, water quality, line pressure and target micron and returns a model, screen grade and expected cleaning frequency, with the reasoning behind it. It handles the ordinary majority of enquiries, it does not need us in the loop, and it does not care what time it is in Melbourne. Use it freely on standard duties — it is the same engine we size with.
What it will not settle for you are the awkward ones: unusual media, high temperature or high pressure, tight retrofits, and anything where the answer turns on judgement rather than numbers. Send those over with whatever you have and we will work them out with you. Three numbers are usually enough to start — flow rate, available pressure, and the type and concentration of solids.
You do not need to become a filtration engineer to sell these, though the partners who learn the product properly tend to sell more of them.

How we would start
No commitment at the first step, and no territory carved up before either side knows it fits.
- 1
Introductory discussion
Your market, your customers, what you already carry, and whether there is a genuine gap for this product in order to establish a viable partnership.
- 2
Technical presentation
The range, the operating principle, where it wins against sand filters and cartridges, and where it does not.
- 3
A first project
We size a real enquiry of yours together, so both sides see how the process works before anything is signed.
- 4
Training
Product and application training for your sales and service people, so you can size and commission without us.
- 5
Market development
An agreed plan for the territory, with the support and material behind it.
Let us build the territory together
Filtaworx grows where its partners grow. We are a manufacturer, not a sales office — we are not going to run your market from Melbourne, and we would rather add one partner a year who builds something real than a list of names on a website. Email sales@filtaworx.com with where you are, what you sell today and the kind of projects you see. A few lines is enough to start, and there is no form to fill in.
